Since that time it has become an art form, with adjectival assault reaching its peak during the 2012 summer of Fifty Shades of Grey.

This blog details author-on-editor violence throughout the ages, in a story yet untold by any living editor, yet marked on the graves of many an editor bashed senseless by adjectival abuse.
